How to Teach Abroad

Who are we looking for?

We partner with online schools that value energetic teachers who enjoy working with children and know how to make learning fun. You don’t need formal teaching experience to get started. New teachers are welcome to apply, and we’ll guide you through every step.

  •  Passion for working with kids and creating engaging lessons
  • Bachelor’s degree from a native English speaking country
  • Eligibility to work in the United States or Canada
  • A webcam, microphone and fast, reliable internet connection
  • TEFL certificate preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism and plenty of patience

What do I Need to Get Started?

All classes are taught one on one in a virtual online classroom. To teach English online, you will need a reliable computer that can handle video lessons without lag. A recent laptop or desktop is recommended to maintain smooth performance.

  • A stable, fast internet connection, usually 20 Mbps or higher, to ensure a clear link without interruptions
  • A quality headset with a noise canceling feature so students can hear you clearly
  • An HD webcam, which most modern laptops already include or can be easily added to a desktop
