Step 1: Online Application

Your journey with Footprints Recruiting begins by completing our online application. This allows us to understand your background, teaching experience, certifications, preferences and career goals.

During this stage, you will:

  • Submit your teaching qualifications and work history through your Resume
  • Indicate preferred countries, regions and school types
  • Share your long-term career goals

Once your application is reviewed, if selected, a member of our recruitment team will be in touch to discuss next steps.

Step 2: Footprints Interview

If your application meets the requirements for international placement, you will be invited to a virtual interview with a Footprints Recruiter. This conversation allows us to get to know you beyond your resume and ensure international teaching is a strong fit.

We will review:

  • Teaching credentials and licensing (if applicable)
  • Classroom experience and subject specialties (if applicable)
  • Experiences that would be relevant to classroom teaching
  • Motivation for teaching abroad
  • Professional readiness for international schools

If approved, you will move forward as a Footprints candidate and gain access to our global school network.

Step 3: School Matching

Footprints Recruiting partners with accredited international schools across Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. Based on your preferences and experience, we actively match you with suitable teaching positions.

During this phase:

  • Schools review your profile
  • Virtual interviews are arranged with interested schools
  • Recruiters provide interview coaching and feedback

We act as your advocate throughout the job search, ensuring clear communication and realistic expectations.

Step 4: Interviews and Job Offers

When a school expresses interest, we support you through the interview process. After interviews, schools may extend an offer which includes salary, benefits and contract details.

Footprints Recruiting assists by:

  • Reviewing job offers with you
  • Explaining contracts and benefits
  • Helping you compare multiple offers if applicable

You always have the final decision. Our goal is to help you accept an offer that aligns with both your professional and personal goals.

Step 5: Contract Signing and Pre-Departure Support

After accepting a position, we guide you through the logistics of preparing for your move abroad. This support includes:

  • Visa and work permit guidance
  • Document authentication and background checks
  • Housing and relocation advice
  • Cultural and country-specific information

Our team remains available to answer questions and reduce the stress of international relocation.
