Summer jobs for Footprints are those jobs that start in June, July or August and run for anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months.
Footprints Recruiting offers a couple different opportunities to teach abroad for the summer. These opportunities are generally reserved for alumni or candidates with teaching experience or for those who are currently enroled in an Education program.
Because summer programs are so short, our clients are often looking for teachers who can step in and hit the mark right away without struggling to try to learn how to put a lesson together or manage a classroom. If you don't have any experience but you'd still like to participate in a summer job teaching English abroad, consider getting TESL/TEFL certification. This will definitely increase your chances but please note that this does not guarantee you a job.
