On the way to South Korea, first stop Hawaii
I've left my home in Colorado and have started my journey to South Korea, along the way I decided to stop in Hawaii for 3 weeks and visit some friends. I left Colorado before I recieved my passport and visa so I was really hoping they would be here upon arrival. It's a very unsettling feeling traveling without the documents to get you into S. Korea. The good news is that UPS delivered the package the day after I had arrived! Now I have all my bags packed, my passport and visa, and my flight arrangemnets!!
It would sound like I am all set to go, however there is one slight issue left to resolve. I arrive in Incheon on August 18th at 6:50pm, the last shuttle from the airport to our EPIK training facility leaves at 8pm. That basically gives me an hour to get through security and customs and catch the last bus out. I've already tried to change my flight to arrive early or even the previous day but nothing is available. So it continues...one last obstacle before I even arrive in Korea. I think I will be pretty lucky if this is the last obstacle and chances are it will not be. 2 weeks left before Korea and I am really excited! My life has been packed into 1 large backpack, 1 suitcase and 1 carry on backpack. I am not sure if that's good or not but I have a feeling I will know in about 2 weeks.
