That's right our services and commitment to teachers are completely free. - Where's the catch? We get that all the time. There is no catch. We get paid by the schools to introduce you to them. This does not affect your salary and there are no hidden fees to you. It's simple. Become part of the Footprints network of teachers around the world. Become a Footprints teacher today.
- We are hiring ESL teachers every month. Start your adventure with Footprints. Whether this is a year escape or a career choice, we have many different types of jobs for all backgrounds and experience levels.
- Did you know that medical insurance is often a contract requirement in Korea, Taiwan and other countries? Did you also know that local national medical insurance does not start until you get your Alien Residence Card? In an effort to make sure our teachers have all the coverage they need we have negotiated with three ex-pat medical insurance companies to get our teachers access to the emergency medical coverage they need when overseas. Did you also know that travel insurance will not work for you? In most cases if the insuring agent finds out that you were actually working abroad, your travel insurance will be null and void. It takes special ex-pat medical coverage to be covered while living and working overseas.
- Do you know what to pack and how to prepare before you teach overseas? Our 80 page Pre-Departure Orientation Kit given to all teachers prior to going overseas helps get you ready before you go.
- What about inoculations? We provide up-to-date information about what's required and what's recommended so you can be sure to get the shots you need.
- What about sending money home and bank accounts here or there? What do I do? Our Placement Coordinators and our Recruiting Department Representatives are all experienced ESL teachers. They have ALL done this before. They can provide you with the information you need to make the transition abroad as simple and enjoyable as possible.
There's more, there's always more. Hopefully we can work with you and you can experience the benefit of Footprints and all our experience.

“I'd like to start off by saying that my choice to teach abroad in Korea was one I know I will never regret! Footprints made it very easy to communicate with the school regarding details of where I'd be living and what I'd be teaching as well as taking care of my flight information. At the airport the morning we left, my boyfriend and I encountered overweight bags and extremely long lines at security, and we missed our flight by literally one minute. As we watched our plane pull from the gate, we just about lost our minds and any hope that we'd make the long journey we'd been planning for so long. We made one simple phone call to the travel agent, Claus, that Footprints set us up with. It was 6AM where he was on a Monday morning when we called in a panic. He said, "Stay by your phone," and we knew that he would fix this fiasco for us. Luckily, while Claus was searching for a solution, a woman from United Airlines was able to book us on another flight so that we would make our connection out of the U.S. to Seoul. We would like to thank Claus and Laina at Footprints for all their help in getting us to Korea!
