Visa Requirements to teach in Georgia
NO VISA is required for teaching in Georgia for most of our Teach and Learn in Georgia Program Volunteers
There is no visa at all required for volunteering in Georgia for the citizens of the countries listed below as per the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia website (no tourist visa, no work visa, none). These teachers can volunteer in Georgia for up to 360 days without a visa. Teachers who wish to extend their contract for a second year can do so with the help and further instruction of their employer in Georgia. If you are a citizen of a country which is not on this list, it is your responsibility to contact a Georgian Embassy or Consulate in your country and find out the process, timeline, and cost of obtaining a visa. Present them a copy of your contract as a proof of you being accepted into the program.
