F-Visas for China - Business Visas

This visa is issued to an alien (foreigner) who comes to China for business, and his/her accompanying family members.

  • Required Documents:
    1. Photocopy of the "Business License" of the sponsoring company in China.
    2. The "Official Invitation Letter" issued by a Chinese government agency. This must also be the original.
    3. Passport with at least 6 months validity
    4. Passport must have at least one completely empty page
    5. F Visa Application Form
    6. Passport sized picture attached to application form
    7. Appropriate or Application Visa Fee (depends on nationality)

Some teachers have actually received this type of visa when working as a teacher for a private business.  In some cases these businesses simply find it easier to issue F2 visas but in others these businesses simply do not have the ability to get the proper documentation to enable teachers to get Z-visas.  Be aware what visa you are getting and ask questions if you are instructed to get anything other than a Z-visa.
