Getting an E2 Visa to Teach in Korea has changed dramatically as of Dec 15, 2007.
From this point it is imperative that you follow your recruiters instructions to ensure all steps are followed and nothing gets overlooked. READ the emails you receive.
Once you have your Visa Issuance Number it is time to go to the Korea Consulate that has jurisdiction to process your application. Jurisdiction is determined by where you live. If you don't live in a city where the consulate is then you can send your documents by mail. SEND BY REGISTERED MAIL. Make sure you also include a pre-paid return envelope and make sure it is registered mail and that you are using the national postal service. Some consulates will not work with couriers.
