Getting a Visa to Teach in China Getting a visa to teach in China can be rather confusing, especially when you have one school that tells you that a degree isn't required and another who says you can't change your visa while you're in the country and yet another that tells you that in some states you don't need a visa.
RUBBISH.
Use your common sense to identify what is legit and what is dodgy or just got with Footprints so you know you are going into a situation where reasonable precaution has been taken and where the client school is on the up and up.
Some Chinese employers have been known to fudge things from time to time, others might have pull with a government office so they can round corners easily, others still might just be able to pay for certain things to happen the way they want them to - these are all parts of living in wonderful far off places.
