This Curriculum is validated by decades of research. The School is made up of 28 classrooms plus additional rooms for Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy, 2 Sensory Rooms, a Swimming Pool, two Gymnasiums, two Cafeterias for students, and an expansive playground. The school has a qualified international staff trained in the implementation of the High/Scope Curriculum. They provide academic services, therapies (Occupational and Speech), Arabic, Religion, Swimming and Physical Education classes. There are three adults in every classroom: a teacher, a teaching assistant, and a helper. Children are assigned to classrooms based on their age and developmental needs with a maximum of nine children per classroom. Classrooms are separated into specific learning Areas: Toy Area, Computer Area, Art, Music, Writing Area, Reading Areas, etc. The elementary classrooms focus on academics: Science Area, Math Area, and a Language Area. Each area of the classroom is equipped with a variety of educational materials and manipulatives that encourage learning through play.Each classroom follows a Daily Routine Schedule, which helps with the development of each child. The school uses a comprehensive assessment tool, COR (Child Observation Record), which is an ongoing evaluation of each child’s progress. It is designed to focus on the broad cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. The school offers breakfast and lunch for its students. All meals are gluten free/casein free (GF/CF).
