This unique teaching opportunity gives teachers the chance to live in one of the best suburban areas of Seoul.

Hwaseong is located in the western area of the Korean Peninsula. It has the largest area of farmland of any city or county in the Gyeonggi province and only one hour away from Seoul.

In Hwaseong you have the opportunity to visit several historical remains, among all the UNESCO World Heritage site "The Dream of a King" (Hwaseong Fortress).

In 2014 the Universal Studios South Korea Theme Park will open and it will be the world's largest Universal Studios theme park.

An interesting event in Hwaseong is The Food Culture Festival: for 3 days in October, 36 restaurants (9 Galbi, 14 Chinese cuisine and 13 Japanese cuisine) attract many tourists. This festival aims to promote each country's food culture as well as to maintain closer ties through cultural exchanges. The Food Culture Festival is held in front of Hwaseong Haenggung.
