There are many convenient places for foreigners including large markets and churches with English service. With a US airbase nearby, North American products can be found in the area. Gunsan is well-known for its sliced raw fish. It is home to one of Korea's premier seafood markets. A variety of fresh and frozen fish, crabs and shellfish await your discovery. Gunsan is a mid-sized city on Korea's west coast. It is an excellent location for a teacher looking for a clean, quiet alternative to Seoul. Gunsan offers teachers the opportunity to experience authentic Korean culture, while offering convenient access to major urban centres via bus. Teachers can pursue outdoor activities such as mountain biking, and there are several boat tours available to view the Kogunsan Islands. You'll be working at a friendly institute with other foreign teachers. You'll enjoy many hours cycling around the city. Furthermore, you will be really amazed at what this lovely city has to offer! We have placed many teachers at this school over the years and have a good relationship with the manager. The friendly atmosphere and helpful foreign teachers at this school make it an attractive option to the bigger cities. |
