A top-ranked Beijing-based university has launched a program to help children develop their English and they are in need of teachers! The university is in search of teachers to work with children between the ages of 4 and 13. Classes have a maximum of 12 students.

Previous experience or specific certifications and education are important factors, but not the most important. Requirements:

Bachelors degree (or higher) in Education

OR

Bachelors degree (any major) plus TEFL/TESOL/CELTA – no less than 120 hours

OR

Bachelors degree (any major) plus at least 2 years experience

*Native English speaker from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, NZ

Make your resume stand out!

  • If you don’t have classroom experience, include any experience working with kids or teenagers tutoring, coaching sports teams, music teaching, babysitting, sunday school volunteering, summer camp counselling, etc. It all counts!
  • If you have  a TEFL certificate, include it on your resume. If not, we highly recommend enrolling in a 120 TEFL hour course and state that it’s in progress on your resume.
