To encourage Georgian schoolchildren to master the English language is the main goal of the project “Teach and Learn With Georgia”.
Since the start of the program in July 2010 Footprints has helped a great number of teachers sign up for a Georgian adventure! Now, in the winter of 2011, more than a year later, numerous teachers who signed up for a semester are reapplying and extending their contracts while others are returning home with a great cultural and teaching experience to put on their resumes and share with their friends. This commercial, launched by the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science, emphasizes what Georgia is striving for -- advances in technology, language, and infrastructure.
Footprints is delighted to see one of our many Georgia teachers featured in this commercia -- Jessica Mishaga arrived in Georgia in October 2010.
