Disney English and Footprints have been working together since well before the arrival of Disney English in China.  Footprints was part of the initial recruitment plan before the first school opened and today we are proud partners of Disney English in their expansion in centers around China.  Since Disney English arrived in China in 2008, Footprints has placed teachers at Disney schools every month.  Today we are proud to announce that we have over 20 teaching jobs with Disney English in China EVERY month and in some months, August and February for example, we have close to 100 teaching opportunities available.

Jiaozuo is a mid-sized city (by China’s standards) of more than one million people. Located in central China, this is an inland city, approximately two hundred kilometers from the capital of Henan Province.   Despite seemingly not on the "map" or connected, the English language appears just about everywhere one looks in this city.

There are loads of things you can do in China that will bring a smile to your face. Most importantly, relax. Know that things are going to be slightly more challenging to accomplish. Know that you make 4 times as much as many of the people you will meet on the street and in the markets. Know that you aren't going to live there forever. Soak up China. Enrich your life by exposing yourself to Chinese culture and life in China.

Footprints Recruiting announces contract signing as the exclusive recruiter for Disney English

Ben Glickman, co-owner of the Vancouver based company Footprints Recruiting Inc., one of the largest suppliers of ESL teachers to Asia, signed an exclusive recruiting contract with Disney English Language Center in Shanghai, China. Disney English Language Centers are part of The Walt Disney Company and are sure to spread throughout China quickly.

As the ESL industry grows at an exponential rate, Footprints Recruiting has become a popular name in a highly competitive market. The business approach that Footprints Recruiting has always taken is one that focuses on ensuring the satisfaction and contentment of teachers and employers alike.

Like in any society, resources and opportunities are often exposed to exclusive selections of society.   Imagine living in China and being an orphan and then consider the opportunities a child in this situation might be exposed to.  A Footprints teacher by the name of Stephen Chappell through a friend of his, Wendy Zhou, took it upon himself to bring a new experience to some poor kids in China.

Until you actually live in China it is really hard to comprehend the magitude of 1,343,239,923 (July 2012 est.) people and how that shapes the market place and businesses.  Add to this consideration the China one child policy and you get an idea how important children are.  Think about considerations for children in your family.  Are you a single child?  Do you have cousins?  Imagine a family tree in China.
