Foreign Embassies in Taiwan

First, one needs to at least be familiar with the question of whether Taiwan really is an independent sovereign country. Many say no, it is a part of the Republic of China, some argue that it is indeed it's own sovereign nation. Whatever your decide, the implications have already been made with respect to office "embassy" representation in Taiwan and as such, some countries do not identify their representation in Taiwan as official "embassies".
