• Formosan Fat Tire Association in Taiwan - Are you extreme? The mountains of Taiwan offer a great place to release stress as you roar down the rugged terrain. If you're looking for mountain biking in Taiwan or want to read about descents in other countries this is a must read. The site is in archive mode but there is a great deal of info available AND you can find like-minded bikers on the site.

• Ice and In-Line Hockey in Taiwan - GET OFF THE BENCH and get your gear on! Ice Hockey has found a niche in Taiwan. Join a team, get involved in a pickup game or just go for a skate. Check out this site to find out more about ice time.

• Lions Club - The Lions volunteer organization is huge in Taiwan. This is a great place to get involved and meet local social-minded people. Check out the Lions website and then go to the Lions club locator and pick Taiwan. Not sure how many clubs are there but there are A LOT.

• The American Club in Taiwan - Can you say posh? Since 1968, the American Club in China (ACC) has provided a warm welcome and a home away from home for people from around the world who have been brought together in Taipei's international community. Great facilities and high class reputation make this the club to join to hang with the muckity-mucks.

• Water World Diving Center - This is everything diving in Taiwan. Find out where to go, take a course, get equipment or read about other peoples adventures underwater.
