Footprints is currently accepting applications for our opportunities in Chile from candidates with the following MIMIMUM qualifications:
- bachelor's in Education or bachelor's + teacher certification + 1 year teaching experience
- TEFL/TESL/TESOL certification is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (take a TEFL course and get a discount)
- you must be a native English speaker
- you must have a valid passport from a native English speaking country and there must be at least 6 months validity remaining
NOTE: Although the legal requirements to get a visa do not require an applicant to have an Education specific degree or teaching experience, Footprints receives an average of over 100 applications per month from teachers interested in teaching in Chile.
In many cases, due to this high volume of applications shortlisted candidates are generally those with Education degrees, ESL teaching experience or Footprints Alumni status.
To get Footprints Alumni status you have to successfully complete a one year placement in any other country in which Footprints offers a placement.
