Korea is a great place to teach

E-mail

Living in Korea is awesome. Most of the apartments are furnished with Western style furniture and you can always get Korean style stuff. As for buying furniture, I don't know. We have a TV, microwave, stove, bathtub, shower, fridge/freezer, and all types of little goodies. There are 3 people living in my apartment and we all have our own bedroom and share the rest.

I highly recommend reading all the sections on teaching in Korea if you are going to teach English in South Korea. Information in the Money in Korea section tells you, among other things, that plastic isn't widely used in rural areas or really anywhere but the larger bix bog shops. The Teaching Privates in Korea section could save your visa. Each topic with the minor exception of possibilty the Bringing Children or Bringing Pets will have valuable information in them. Take time. PREPARE. Read the Teaching in Korea section of the site.

Susannah

Susannah “I've just been through the SMOE orientation and started my new job. And I just wanted to say thank you to you and Footprints- after meeting all those who came through other recruiting agencies I realized how lucky I was to be with Footprints. You provided me with much more information than others received and you've always been very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you so much again, Susannah”
