The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Houston, USA, has jurisdiction to process visas for residents of the following American States:
Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas
The Houston TECO office hours are:
Lobby Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm ( 12:00am-1:00pm drop-off only)
Office Hours: Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Please note that the Houston TECO office is closed for the following Taiwanese National Holidays. Please check to see when these days fall:
January 1 - Founding Day of the Republic of China
January (some time) - Chinese New Years (determined by Lunar calendar)
February - Memorial Day
April - Tomb Sweeping Day
May - Labour day (generally first Monday of the Month)
June - Dragon Boat Festival (generally near the end of the month)
September - Armed Forces Day (generally the beginning of the month)
September - Mid-Autumn Festival - (determined by Lunar calendar)
October 10 - Double Tenth National Day
Please note that the TECO office in Houston also observes the following American holidays. These days change year by year, please check a calendar to see when one of these days falls so you don't go to the TECO office for nothing...
