Details NIIED, a governmental organization affiliated to the Ministry of Education in Korea, is looking for a responsible and competent native speaker of English to assist in managing EPIK. Please read on of additional information about this opportunity.
- Duties
- Working hours: 9am - 6pm
- Working days: 5 days per week (excluding Sat, Sun, and Korean national
holidays)
- Manage counsel office of EPIK (mediate disputes, give consultations)
Respond to inquiries (calls, e-mails, visits)
- Proofread, check and draw up English documents
- Perform work assigned by EPIK and NIIED
- Employment Period - October 1, 2008 ~ September 30, 2009
- Renewable upon mutual written agreement (1 year contract period)

- Salary 1,800,000 ~ 2,300,000 KRW per month (approximately 1,800~ 2,300
USD)

- Housing allowance: 500,000 KRW per month (approximately 500 USD)

50% of your premiums paid by your employer
- National Pension: 50% of your compulsory contributions paid by your employer
- Required Qualifications
- Hold at least a bachelor's degree
- Fluent, accurate competency of English
- Earnest, responsible and willing to cooperate
- Capable of counseling and fast typing
- Mentally and physically healthy
- A citizen of a country where English is the primary language who can obtain
an E2 visa
- Preference is given to:
- A person with an experience in EPIK
- Bilingual: Fluent in both Korean and English
- Skilled in administration
