Details
This school is part of a chain of schools mainly in the Gyeonggi/Seoul area and elsewhere. The Student ages range from 4th Grade to 9th Grade, but the majority of the classes are 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade students. Not all the students, but a high percentage of them, are studying for the purpose of being accepted in highly respected Foreigner High Schools and Foreign Language High Schools. This is not a “Game” Academy; this is a very serious and important training school. This academy (YES) is part of a larger organization called Youngjae, which has one of the best reputations for teaching middle school students in all of Korea. It has various branches in many major Korean cities.

Incheon is rapidly developing into one of the largest cities in Korea with a population of 2,628,000 residents. Incheon is home to Korea’s only Chinatown, where there are annual festivals such as Bukseong-dong in October where you’ll see dragon dances, parades and noodle festivals. Other famous festivals include the Incheon Marine Festival which is held in August, the Inchoen Sky Festival annually held in September and many more. Ichoeon is a great city to enjoy the convenience of living in a metropolitan city as well as the landscapes of living in a coastal town. Incheon is about a 35-45 minute subway ride from Seoul.

Gwangmyung is located to the east of Seoul and Southeast of Anyang. It is known as a metropolitan satellite city of Seoul, but has a population of about 340,000 residents. The city has a KTX station which connects it to the entire country, the KTX is a high speed bullet train which makes it convenient to travel to any given location. There is a lot to do and experience in Gwang Myeong, popular festivals such as the Ori Cultural Festival, Temples, Shrines and Gureum Mountain City Nature Park.

Bucheon is the heart of the entertainment and culture in Korea, it is known as the city of art. It is home to many films and TV dramas as well as a world famous architecture theme park, Fantastic Studio and the Dongchun Circus Theatre. There are plenty of cultural and social events to do and be seen at in Bucheon.
