 As one of the largest English academies in its neighborhood, this school offers its foreign teachers several benefits. For example, they pride themselves on having five foreign teachers, thereby ensuring a smoother transition into life in Korea. Teachers can enjoy lunch and dinner at the school. The curriculum is structured to encourage learning through games and classroom participation. The school has a variety of resources available to assist the teacher. Class sizes range from four to twelve students. Teaching hours vary for kindergarten and middle school teachers (10:00-7:35 for kindergarten teachers and 1:00-9:40 for middle school teachers). Outside of the working environment, they guarantee their teachers two weeks paid vacation along with national holidays. This school is located near downtown Daejeon, a mere 15-minute car ride. In the neighborhood one can climb the Gyejok mountain, eat in one of the many restaurants, shop in the area’s boutiques, or sing with friends in the karaoke rooms.
