This is a well established EFL language school with a well known curriculum in Taiwan. Teachers will be provided with all necessary resources for lesson plans. Students range from ages 6-14yrs old and teachers will receive assistance from Taiwanese teachers throughout the year. Each class has a maximum of 16 students. Duration of teaching contract is one year. Salary: $55,000NT per month. After 6 months, teachers are evaluated and given raises. Raises apply to their monthly pay up to NT$60000/month. Teacher responsibilities: classroom preparation, punctuality, classroom management, participation in school meetings, participation in field trips, and maintain good relationships with parents/students/co-teachers. Training will be provided together with ongoing professional development. Beigang Township, in southern part of Yunlin County, is a nice laid back place offering a full immersion into Taiwanese culture - daily life, sights, sounds, transport system, plus history. You won't have to deal with major crowds in public places, plus rent is much cheaper.
