There are plenty of activities to partake in on your holidays while teaching in Brunei. Brunei is located on the island of Borneo, a rainforest covered paradise with incredible snorkeling, diving, hiking, and trekking opportunities. Borneo is home to the endangered orangutan, the interesting looking proboscis monkey, and the pygmy Borneo elephant.

Mount Kinabalu sits just over 4000 meters and is located a few hours away from Brunei, in the Malaysian part of Borneo. This mountain is a popular climbing destination and the flora in the region includes the giant Rafflesia flower and the pitcher plants.

Golfing, horseback-riding, white-water rafting, and fishing are also available in Brunei.
