Does Footprints take a cut of my salary when I get a job placement? I have read in other forums that that is why you are so interested in recruiting, and that someone who made $2000 a month was really supposed to make $3000...except that you took the $1000.

Is this true? What proof do you have against it?

Hello Anne,

Thank you for your email. The contract that the teachers signs is between the teacher and the school, not between the teacher and Footprints. We have a separate contract with the schools, and this contract requires the school to pay a fee to us for our services. It is a fee that is determined between the school and us, and it is contingent upon the teacher completing a certain percentage of the contract. If the teachers breaks the contract before that percentage of the contract is complete, we receive no compensation for our efforts.

We do not take a cut of your salary. Our services are free to the teacher.

For further proof, you'll find that people who are hired directly (those that apply for positions directly with the schools as opposed to going through a Recruiter) sign the same contract for the same salary.
