Screening & Marketing Intern
I was born in a small town called Machala in Ecuador. When i was a child I always dreamed about traveling to different countries and meeting new people from different cultures. My first experience away from home was when I attended University in a city called Guayaquil.
When I finished university I decided to travel but I wasn't sure if I wanted to go to Canada or to the United States. My Mom always used to tell me that she didn't know how I was going to handle the weather and the culture shock of a completely different country because of that time I had never traveled on my own, and I am not a fan of the cold weather. However, I encouraged myself to do it because I have always liked challenges, and here I am!
The first week that I arrived, I feel in love with Vancouver, for me it is such a beautiful city. Also, here is the first time I have ever seen snow in my entire life.
At first, I did not plan on doing an internship in Canada, but when I finished 6 months of English studies, I decided to go for it again, and I was placed with Footprints REcruiting. Since that time, I have been working as an Intern in the Applications and Screening Department in the morning, and the Marketing Department in the afternoon.
I am very happy to be with Footprints, and to have the opportunity to meet interesting people. I plan on enjoying my remaining time here in Vancouver as much as I can!

“My experience in Korea was one of the best of my life. I know, I know…so cliché…but it WAS. I am also of the opinion that Footprints Recruiting ROCKS. My year in Korea went off without a hitch…until…sigh, the end of my contract and my last paycheck. My director tried to scam me out of about 700 USD. I contacted Footprints and they stepped in and took action against my employer. Footprints has your back during the placement and throughout your contract. Make sure you cover your butt, go with a great recruiter.”
