From the very beginning my footprints representative assisted me. He helped with my visa, education on the culture, and making important decisions. The day I arrived in Taiwan, I was tired, hungry, and very overwhelmed. A school representative was at the airport waiting for me. He took me to eat and then immediately to my new home. It is a beautiful ....

I just wanted to write a quick note. We got to Korea fine. The orientation was a little boring for us but it was expected because we had taught before and all. We're getting settled in now and we did get a very nice couples apartment too. My school is great and I think I'll like it a lot better than ....

Footprints Recruiting was very helpful in assisting me with all of the paperwork needed for teaching in Korea. My recruiter, Ryan was very prompt at answering any questions that I had and helping resolve any issues that came arose. I would reccomend Footprints to anyone loking to teach abroad. ....

I worked a year overseas in Korea, Gangwon-do actually. Just thought I’d put on my experiences here since I heard horror stories from other teachers there who worked through recruiters other than Footprints. I Have to say that right from the beginning I got straight answers, I talked to Jeff, a co-owner and he told me exactly what to expect. Everything ....

All I have to say is that teaching in Korea changed my life. I loved every day that I had with my students and my fellow teachers- and that is ALL thanks to footprints.
I should mention that I am one of believing in the power of a smile and a possitive outlook. If you are looking for a ....

Deciding to live and work in another country is a daunting endeavor. However, Footprints Recruiting helps you every step of the way. When I went through Footprints over a year ago, I wasn't sure what to expect. I can say without doubt though, they were very thorough and highly organized. More importantly though, Footprints was attentive to my wants and needs. ....

I have just returned from my first year teaching in South Korea. I lived in Busan near Haeundae Beach. It was a fabulous spot both in the summer and winter months as there were always lots of activities and events to participate in during my free time.

I taught both kindergarten (ages 6-7) and primary classes (ages ....

I came into contact with Footprints
Recruiting in 2003 and have been working with them ever since. I still teach in Korea and I am still teaching through them.

When I first started this process I spoke to Ben Glickman and asked for him to introduce me to a specific type of school. Shortly thereafter I accepted ....

No Regrets

Since my return to Canada, I have been reconnecting with friends and family, trying to explain my experiences to everyone, over and over again!

I spent 2 years in Incheon, Korea teaching English (for 1 of which I was Head Teacher at the school). I taught in a big school with some ....

Hyper-efficient is the only way to describe the evolution. I am moved in to my fairly good-sized apartment WHICH, by the way, is directly across the hall from an internet cafe! Does life get any better? (grin) I am observing my first class at 1730 today, so there is no grass growing under my feet right now. You run a class ....

My year in Taiwan finishes in two weeks. The past twelve months have been incredible. Footprints, Ben in particular, provided me with an excellent service. After assuring that my transition to Taiwan went smoothly, Ben continued to follow up on any problems or questions that I had. Coming to Taiwan through Footprints was an excellent decision. ....

As of late January my brother moved to Korea too. It's been awesome sharing this experience, and he's been relatively close (only 18 subway stops away on the Incheon line). Anyway, I am very interested in working within an hour or so from where I am now, teaching in an immersion village (this has always been my desire) and making a ....

I went to Korea using your company's services. And thank goodness I did. Before Korea I went to Taiwan under my power, and the school (Gloria) treated me like dirt and ripped me off big time. I left vowing never to teach abroad again. What changed my mind was your company's reputation, which made me decide to give ESL another chance. ....

Well, I have been in Korea for 8 months and have loved every minute of it!! I really wanted to be in Seoul but took a job in Pyeongtaek instead and am very glad for it. I don't mind being out of Seoul either. I am only an hour away and there are many benefits to being in a smaller city. ....

Comments: It was an overall amazing time to be in Taiwan from Sept 2005 - Sept 2006. Taiwanese politics will keep you on the edge of your seat (for those interested). The lifestyle is fun, driving everywhere, eating everywhere, meeting people everywhere, just everywhere in taiwan is great. Though it may be a place overlooked by some looking for an adventure, ....

Hello recruiters and recruitee's!

I'm just winding up my first contract with Fooprints in Seoul, South Korea. My placement here has been more amazing than I ever could have imagined - i've made so many close korean friends, partially learned a new language (still admittingly quite sketchy), travelled about the beautiful countrysid, and found out all kinds of ....
