| Jul-05-2007 10:13 Colleen Dowling Sophia, my director, is the most caring, helpful "boss" imagineable. She sat with me every day for weeks, helping me plan my lessons. Also, Christine is the warmest, perfect person to welcome us new foreign teachers into Taiwan. She was so much fun to talk to, I forgot I was at the hospital getting poked with needles. And, of course, I'm .... Click to read full comment |

- | Aug-18-2005 19:55 Rodney Ellis Travelling and living in Taiwan is a whole other mind-opening experience. I have lived and travelled all over Europe and parts of African, but nothing compares to a Taipei night with the neon lights, speeding scooters, and fun til the sun comes up. The people, the everyday life, and teaching the children here are a life changing expeirence. For those that .... Click to read full comment |
- | Jun-27-2005 06:48 Amy Sindicic I am really grateful for the opportunity to teach in Taiwan. I have learned a great deal from this experience over the past 10 months. I had spent the year before teaching for a small school in Japan. I had always wanted to see Taiwan but had heard so many rumors and also read on numerous sites that Taiwan did not .... | Sep-16-2004 16:55 Sean Herring Funny thing, I was watching Fear Factor the other day with my roommates (I'm sure your all familiar with the show) and it came to the most nauseating part of the program, ya know when they have to eat some of the most unimaginable things that were imagined by the producers of the show. Well (I don’t know if .... Click to read full comment |
| May-04-2004 04:31 Jenn I have been in Kaohsiung, Taiwan for just short of four months now. I love the city, and more importantly, I love my job. Sure, it's hard sometimes, but the kids make it all worthwhile. I work at a preschool, and I have a class of 14 3-4 year olds. What could be better? I basically play with them all day .... | Apr-23-2004 09:58 Niall Birtwell I have been teaching in Keelung, Taiwan for over 1 year now, and plan to stay at least another. Footprints Recruiting was an invaluable service for me, assisting in many ways to ensure I had a smooth transition. Without their support, moving to Taiwan would have been much more difficult, and my experience much less enjoyable. I have, of course, become .... Click to read full comment |
| Apr-16-2004 15:04 Mez Footprints Recruiting provided me with generous support in securing teaching employment in Taiwan.
