I just went to Sokcho Beach. How incredible it was to have the beach on one side and the Serok Mountains on the other side. I went to the beach and then went to the mountain park. Korea is such an incredibly beautiful country. It is so easy for a foreigner to get around. I confess that I have not learned ....

I just finished my second summer camp at Sanpyong Elementary School. We had a great time. Teachers in the public schools in Korea usually end up teaching summer camp. I had fun but I am glad to have some time off. I am headed to Sokcho. I want to go to the beach. ....

I went on a city tour of Choenan. In Korea, the city tours are an inexpensive way to see the highlites of a city. This city tour cost me about four dollars and the tour lasted from 10a.m. to 5p.m. We went about 10 places. ....

Hi all!
Thank you so much Carmen, Ben, Andrea, and everyone else who has helped me get this public school position in Gangwondo, Korea. You have been there every step of the way and answered all my questions with a cheerful voice. You can be sure to count on someone at footprints, even if you face obstacles along the ....

I've been in Incheon, Korea for almost two months now and so far so good. I love my school. I'm teaching at a middle school in Komam-dong area, which is close to Gimpo Airport.
My school set me up with a great apartment, and I've met some wonderful people here. There is so much to see and do here and ....

I'm emailing for two reasons. One to thank you for all your help setting me up here. I have never felt so happy and healthy in my life. I left Canada searching for something missing in my life and I have found fulfillment. I feel alive surrounded by a culture who help and support each other rather than step on one ....

I have been in Korea for a month now, and it has been a busy and fun-filled one at that. I am in Cheorwon-Wasuri near DMZ. I requested anywhere near a river or lake (because I am an amature kayaker) and a mountain or two (for hiking exercises). Also I wanted some place near the DMZ. I was ecstatic when I ....

If you are debating on which area to teach I would definitely suggest Korea, I have just moved to the Gangdong area and it is great. There is so much to see here, I have the most amazing view of the mountains in my apartment. The best thing about Korea is the people though, they are so friendly and welcoming to ....

I have been in South Korea for 1 week and I love it! After 2 days of travel I arrived in Ulsan, exhausted and sweaty from the humidity and met my employers. They have all been very concerned for my well-being, not to mention attentive to my needs as a teacher, as well as a person. They have made me feel ....

The first month was great. I fell in love with Korea and the teachers here within the first two weeks. I couldn't believe how quickly Korea became home. The teachers at the school have made it alot easier for me. They have been so nice and supportive, that it made being away from home for the first time so much easier. ....

Thank you for the wonderful 4th of July wishes! We have six Americans in our little town of Hamyang, S. Korea. We had a little impromptu potluck get together after everyone got off of work. There was pork roast, potato salad, fried rice, banana bread, and watermelon.

Afterwards, we went out to the local park and shot ....

I decided a year before I got my current contract in Changwon, South Korea that I was interested in teaching abroad. I had no experience traveling alone in a foreign country nor did I have the resources to research the schools I was interested in working for. Before I found Footprints I looked into several other jobs in different cities throughout ....

Footprints Recruiting is a rare recruiting firm, it is that cares. They take the time to ensure the school a teacher goes to is professional, provides training, good housing, pays on time and has a healthy work environment. There is no other recruiter, that I know, that stays in touch with a teacher after the contract is signed, to see if ....

Don’t know what the heck you are doing? I didn’t either. This was my ‘first’ for a lot of things…teaching, living abroad, arranging a flight the day before departure...but Footprints was so helpful they practically packed my bags for me.

So here I am, 9 months into my Korean experience, and things are still running smoothly. My ....

It's me, Steven Benson. As you may or may not recall, you assisted me in securing a (first-time) position with the S.M.O.E. this March, and I just wanted to drop you a quick line to once again express my gratitude, now that I am on the 'inside'. I am currently employed at Dongma Middle School in the Seongdong-gu District of Seoul, ....
