Taichung - from an English Teacher's Perspective
Taichung is conveniently located in the middle of Taiwan allowing for easy accept to everything. Taiwan is a relatively small country and access from top to bottom is pretty fast and simple, but being close to the middle really makes it better.
Taichung has a population of about one million, making it Taiwan's third largest city. One of the things most appealing about this city is the laid back atmosphere and it’s reputation as an educational and cultural center. The nightlife here rivals that of Taipei so for teachers looking to have a good time out, this can be a lot of fun.
Jingming 1st Street is an artery reserved for pedestrians and this place is full of entertainment and shops and is a haven for teachers and a good time.
