  • SeonMoon Market – largest market in Daegu - on the green line
    • It is the next stop after Banwoldong if you are taking the subway from Beomo Junction towards Banwoldong.  Take the exit that says “Seomun Market”. When you get out, you will see a sign that says “Sock Street”.  Take a right and walk down sock street and it will lead you to Seomun Market.
  • Junangno Station – American brands, they have shops in the subway station.

  • Shanghai Grill is the only place to get Americanized Chinese food
  • Hami Mami’s – A restaurant over by Camp Walker that serves up biscuits and gravy and provides a complete order out Thanksgiving meal, complete with the trimmings.   The mashed potatoes are great and the meal serves up to seven people.

 

Travel IN and OUT of Daegu

  • KTX – runs out of DongDaegu station.  Multiple trips to Seoul and Busan every 40 minutes to an hour.
  • Slow trains -  run out of DongDaegu and Daegu Station.
  • Seogu Terminal and Bukbu Terminal – Bus stations
