Adjara, the most south-eastern province of Georgia, is well known for its humid climate. Batumi, Adjara's capital, is a popular coastal city with some long stretches of beach on the Black Sea. Up in Adjara's mountainous region, various crops are grown including citrus fruits, tobacco, and tea.
