Books about teaching and living in Korea
Did you know that just north of Kyoungju there is a little known, little explored Buddhist temple perched on a mountainside with artist monks that love to share their stories with foreigners. In the cliffs beyond this temple there are 10 images of buddha carved into the rock face. The Lonely Planet Korea is one way to try to find this place or you may want to use other books relating to Kyoungju or Korean sight-seeing.
You may also want to explore the relationship between North and South Korea and read about the Bridge of No Return that is locating in the DMZ or a host of other great reads that will be you closer to Korean culture and history.
It is amazing what you can learn about Korea by reading about it.
