Footprints is offering teachers the opportunity to teach at a prestigious university in Medina. This university offers a complete range of disciplinary options and is considered the foremost university in the area.

Medina is located in the western region of Saudi Arabia, north of Jeddah, and is considered the second holiest site in Islam.

Life in Saudi for some, can be considered somewhat humdrum. There is no alcohol in the country and it is a very conservative culture. That being said, it offers an amazing opportunity for you to save money, read, study and pursue personal exploration.

If you are considering teaching in Saudia Arabia, some teachers have commented that life can be difficult at times but virtually all of them commented that there was a lot for them to do. They scuba dived and snorkeled in the Red Sea which is as good a place as any in the world. Many fished, many mountain biked and hiked. Several teachers commented that they worked on their Master degree whilst they were abroad and many commented that they were able to read and truly relax moreso than they ever had before.
