Gunsan is very famous for its fresh seafood. In Gunsan, there are many restaurants and bars, and a foreign community of roughly 40 native English speaking teachers at any given time. Teachers can pursue outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking, wind surfing, paragliding and scuba diving- and there are several boat tours available to view the Kogunsan Islands.
