This school has existed since 2002. Due to their proven teaching philosophy and the incredible progress of their students, they have grown year after year to our current size of about 1,300 students, 30 foreign teachers, and 40 support staff.
They specialize in returnee and very advanced non-returnee students. Their returnee students are those who have studied overseas for at least two years in an English-based school and who have acquired an excellent command of the English language, often times speaking as fluently as native speakers. Their non-returnee students have achieved a very high level of English ability while studying in Korea. They have tested at a level which proves they can function in an overseas English-based classroom at their level. Each year this school graduates many students into some of the top ranked foreign language middle schools and high schools in Korea, a goal of many of our students.
To help these high level students achieve these goals, this school uses only North American textbooks in their classes, and they strive to run their school not as a typical “hagwon”, but as a school that you would find in North America. They also employ only the most qualified and dedicated teachers who can present the material in the most beneficial way. Currently 50% of their staff are trained, certified teachers, and 20% hold their Master’s Degree.
Due to the amount of growth that they have been experiencing they need to expand their teaching staff yet again. They are looking for dedicated teachers who are professional teachers or are considering it as a career. They are looking for highly organized individuals who understand that teaching is hard work and can meet the rigorous demands that this job places on teachers.
They offer our teachers an escape from the typical “hagwon” teaching experience with our North American curriculum, highly organized and structured system, and extremely professional working environment. With their professional development program, you can also expect to grow as a teacher during your time with them.
